What's the general consensus here on Hammer Bros? They came through here on the 25th, but I missed it. Apparently they're playing another show here in May so I might catch that one.

punxnbutter posted:That's a hell of a show for one night....when does this start? I might come up fromt CT for this, or go to NYC is the lineup stays intact. The NYC one is with AF, right? I'd come up from CT too but I don't have a car ATM. If the NYC one is the one I'm thinking of, I'll probably find a way to go with someone that likes AF.

According to the Terror site, yes. April 5, 2008, Brooklyn, NY @ Studio B Agnostic Front, Madball, Terror, Breakdown, Death Before Dishonor Also, I don't get the hate for Terror. But then again I like those kind of bands. Meh, to each their own I guess. act five fucked around with this message at 04:14 on Feb 25, 2008 |

Can someone recommend some bands similar to Sabertooth Zombie? I've got their split with Life Long Tragedy and it's some good poo poo.

I retract anything bad I've previously said about Interpunk. Once the site said something was in stock when it wasn't, and another time it took much longer than expected to process and ship the order, but I ordered a few t-shirts on Wednesday, and they arrived here with the default shipping option.

Saw a pretty amazing CTHC reunion show tonight, I'm not sure how well known these names are but Brass Caskets, Dead Wrong, Follow Through, Tyrant Trooper, Mind War and Higher Force played. Also seeing Bane on the 13th

Nah, you're right. Waterbury, Danbury, Hartford etc seem to pull better crowds. I dislike the Webster for the most part, but it'll have to do. Especially since I missed Bane and Trapped Under Ice in Waterbury a year or two back. Silver City Hall in Meriden is a pretty cool venue as far as american legion type places go.

Bane/TUI was probably one of the best shows I've seen in years. That may be kind of biased seeing as how Bane is one of my favorite bands, but w/e Also, the Webster Underground isn't all that great, there's not much room to dance or even move around for that matter.

Is anyone else going to see Gang Green/DYS/Jerry's Kids/The F.U.s/Antidote and some newer local stuff in Revere in MA at the end of the month? I'm ridiculously excited--haven't heard most of these bands in at least ten years, if not more. Holy poo poo, I'm definitely going to try and make it. Thx for the heads up.

Oh drat, I didn't realize how far away Revere is, it's about 3 hours from New Haven. Eh, it won't be the last show I'll miss. DRI's playing in Hartford in October, I believe. Should be pretty awesome.

It's gonna be pretty much a last minute decision but I'll let you know a few days ahead of time. Also, I'm headed out to Oregon for a week next month, most likely gonna hit this up pending transport prices etc. Looks like a drat good time. (also gently caress YEAH FREE SODA)

punxnbutter posted:Oh so you went to the Pad too? I fuckin loved Touche Amore's set and was happy to see the crowd really into it. Some goofball was bitchin bout Envy towards the end of the night and proved my point on Toads crowds. I'm not sure why that chucklehead was hanging around if he wasn't into the headlining band. Late response, but yeah Toads crowds suck almost as much as the security. I wasn't aware pileups equal crowd surfing. As much as I dislike the promoter, he's usually good about sticking up for people on that kind of poo poo.

Hell yeah, I'm most likely going to make it to MDF. Looks like it's gonna be awesome. CT dudes: Cruel Hand, Backtrack and Hate Your Guts are playing upstairs at Toads on the 27th. It's an early show, if I'm not mistaken it starts at 6pm, $8. act five fucked around with this message at 14:06 on Nov 20, 2010 |

Yeah, it didn't happen. Stupid venue booked the show without getting the permit to play. So a couple bands played in Danbury and a couple played in Woodbrige, and a few went home. It was a mess, I didn't find out CJ was playing Danbury until they actually went on. Typical CT booking for you.
