It's a great album. Gilead just announced a Mizmor compilation LP and an extended interview with Andrew by Emma Ruth Rundle in book form.

I really feel that black metal has been vindicated as the One True Genre that reflects the times we are living in. Soon we will be able to say 'I listened to that long before the plague times'. For example I've been listening to vaar who have released two things this year already https://vaar.bandcamp.com/album/as-dusk-fell

Does anyone have an idea of a distro that might still have copies of The Devil's Cradle book bout the history of Finnish BM? Can't find it anywhere anymore.

Been listening to a lot of Dornenreich again, I always forget how awesome their records are.

You might try the sales/trade section on a specialised metal forum if no distros in your area have a copy.

Cheers, glad you like it.

For corrosion, unless a label or someone wants to take it up and handle duplication and distribution, I very much doubt it. That said, i've been speaking to folk on the discord about doing a small DIY run of something new and shorter, like a 20 minute long thing, but that's all pretty much just in my head at the moment.

Anyone listened to Peste Noire's last album? Not a fan of Famine's politics but I really liked their two albums before the latest one. Especially the La Chaise Dybale felt like some dark hillbilly french rock and it even had old war/marching songs adapted to black metal. Don't see any reviews for it but metal archive user review are very negative on it.

Peste Noire is a really silly sounding band which makes his politics funnier. It's like that one nokturnal mortum album that sounds like a barn dance.

Here's some really cool poo poo I didn't know existed

https://blackcurse-svr.bandcamp.com/releases

"Back before Blood Incantation and Spectral Voice had even released their much-loved full-length albums, Morris Kolontyrsky (Blood Incantation, Spectral Voice), Gravetorn (Spectral Voice), Antinom (Khemmis), and Jonathan Campos (Primitive Man) had another band together called Maliblis. They released a very promising demo in 2017 and then kinda disappeared (and obviously were very busy with other bands), but then, earlier this month, that same lineup quietly released a debut full-length album as Black Curse called Endless Wound. Like Spectral Voice, Black Curse is fronted by Gravetorn, the only SV member not in Blood Incantation."
