Limbonic Art is awesome. Anyone else love Vesania and 1349 as much as I do?

I love, love, love 1349 and think they do the whole blastbeat-crazy side of black metal very well. Not to mention Beyond the Apocalypse was one of my first black metal albums and definitely helped me to get into the genre as a whole. If you don't like Frost's drum fills in Nekronatalenheten, you aren't alive.

recomend me some good japanese bm besides gnome and gorugoth

Abigail, Cut Throat, and Sigh are all fantastic Japanese black metal bands. Albeit the first two bands are definitely more black/thrash than just straight up black metal.

There is absolutely no way PYHA is from North Korea.

From someone who lived in Seoul for two years, I must completely and utterly agree with you. It takes years for people in South Korea to get a permit see their relatives in North Korea, and usually they get about 2 hours to spend with each other. So bascially, if this had somehow snuck it's way out of North Korea, Kim Jong Il would be feasting on his intestines in front of a large crowd to dissuade others from trying this cultural export tomfoolery.

Yeah I managed to find a few albums under 10eur, but then it added up anyway because some albums would cost 20eur (mostly imports). I don't feel like running around all over town just so I can save 5eur on a few albums though. Money isn't an issue for me right now, so I'd rather just order them online. I'm busy as it is with work and school.

Trouble though is that the sites I order from don't have that wide of a selection when it comes to these genres. They generally had 2 or 3 albums by each band I searched for. So do any of you know any (reliable) Scandinavian online record stores that specialises in this kind of music?

Don't know how good it is, but Metal-Archives always links to Blackscaped:

http://www.blackscaped.de/

And seeing how the only other distro they link to is The Omega Order, this should probably be pretty drat trustworthy.

Edit:^^^^^That's true of US tours too, buying cds at concerts is stupid, they're almost always the most expensive you'll ever see them.

Sarcofago, too. I wish someone had told me about Sarcofago when I was first learning about black metal.

And Vulcano.

Also, I'm surprised Mr. Bling didn't mention them but Countess, Countess, Countess, you can never go wrong with Countess.

While they draw on (non-exclusively) ecofascist tenets of a spiritual connection to nature, I don't think they have any inherent supremacy thinking underlying their philosophy. And that non-exclusivity is fundamental, as that spiritual connection and a conservationist/self-sufficiency ethic underlies pretty much all deep green and Naessian Deep Ecology thinking. And where WITTR emphasizes self-sufficiency, they also advocate withdrawal from overconsumptive society, not forcing a certain lifestyle on others.

Of course, I could be wrong. I'm just going by what I've seen/read.

They explain some of their thinking in this Invisible Oranges Interview which is a pretty good read. It also has a full song from their new album.

FE: I just linked to the main page (should be the first thing) since each post doesn't have an individual url

This thread needs more actual gay people in it, to freak you guys the gently caress out.

I'd be surprised and really depressed if anyone was honestly freaked out by a gay metalhead. Is there really anyone in this thread that doesn't have a friend or at least a very good acquaintance that is openly gay, if the answer is yes I'd be absolutely shocked.

Together with a band from brazil called Volcano, who are "legendary", but aren't on Metal Archives.

You are a fool if you missed out on Vulcano.
