1349 have a new song up on their Myspace page - "Atomic Chapel" from their upcoming album, Demonoir. Wow, a dumb song name and a dumb album name. Whatever. The song is still kind of weird in the vein of Revelations of the Black Flame, but I wouldn't say it's half as bad.

When the vocals come in on "Beholding the Daughters of the Firmament," that's what I assume the apocalypse will sound like. It's great. Also, check out Krallice. I don't know why it came to mind, but the last track on their self-titled album, "Forgiveness in Rot," is fantastically atmospheric and entrancing.
