If two grown men can't make a pervert happy for a few minutes in order to watch a film about zombies, then maybe we should all just move to Iran!

I don't know if that's true. I had a long back and forth with someone from craigslist and their emails kept coming up as a random craiglist address. I am assuming mine did the same?

Kit cars seem perfectly valid to me as long as the person makes no effort to pretend it's not a kit. I will never own a cobra, but I could theoretically own a kit car that looks identical and meets my performance needs (read: picking up groceries). Where is the harm?

No pictures, but fairly certain we looked at a stolen car on Craigslist yesterday. Guy gave us an address where nobody was home, but there were two guys waiting there looking to buy a different car. They had the same contact phone number that we did. We eventually got a hold of the guy who said to come meet him at a different address around the corner. We figured it was a bad idea, but curiosity got the best of us. The other guys took off.

The car was way different than advertised, and had clearly been in a major accident and very poorly repaired. I asked the seller about the guys at the other address and asked why they had his phone number. He got nervous, said it wasn't his phone number (it very much was), and drove off.

Also "antic tags".

Antic tags should absolutely be a thing. An understanding between the owner and the government that this vehicle will be used strictly for what can only be described as antics.

How do you even get a 78 month loan for a used car? What bank was like 'yeah this is legit?' My condolences on the forever debt.
I got one on a couple year old truck, because I have excellent credit but make garbage money. So, long term loan, but low interest rate and monthly payments. It's a bummer being locked in such a long loan, but the truck will outlive the loan, so eh, whatever.

But you needed the truck, right?
I needed a new (used) automobile and a truck best fits my lifestyle, while definitely not being an absolute necessity, yes. Trying to shame someone for having a vehicle that isn't 100% the most practical possible option for them is a super bizarre take in AI. For the record, the loan was 6 months longer than the one I had previously on my focus, and 12 bucks more a month.

I appreciate the concern/superiority, but the reason I have excellent credit is because I don't take on loans I can't afford??

How in the hell are Fiero kits still around? How many donor cars can there be at this point? Like, it kind of made sense when a clean Fiero was easy to come by and cheap, but at this point most of them are rusty basket cases if they are still driving. The thought of tearing into one of those is nauseating.
I'm gonna make a kit to convert Camrys into Fieros to keep a steady supply of donors.
