Am I wrong in thinkging a VW thing would be a blast to drive around in?

On the other hand, this thing is a crime against nature.

Probably should have spent the money on getting the hood to fit right instead

BMW does NOT make a V6. Everytime I see that it makes my head hurt, you own the ultimate driving machine, yet you don't even know what kind of engine it has?!?!?!?!?

For the sake of every other enthusiast and uninformed buyer, please, please do a little research on your cars before you list them.

Also, I'm going to need to sell a kidney or something:

Who the hell dumps $15k into a Cobalt? I do like that he helpfully listed the approximate price of each "MOD", and that he lists Stock Tint as a selling point.

There's no listed price, which s probably for the best. This way I can pretend I could afford to buy and drive the gently caress out of it every day.

So what are people using to search multiple Craigslist sites? It's a pain trying to hit different cities to looks for stuff, but I can't find any decent sites that crawl different listings. Everything I've found looks terrible is difficult to use. Hoping some goons have better sources.

Funzo

I got a page saying it was down until further notice. I know Craigslist has tried to get sites like this taken down in the past, since they want all that traffic just hitting their own sites.

I drove past this place on the way to St. Louis and back last week. If I had more time I would have stopped in. Lots of really cool stuff listed, although I don't know if the prices are in line or not. I wish I had the money for one of the old VW squarebacks though.

If I take the back road to work after going to get coffee, I drive right past what I am almost certain is an old Audi Quattro. It's sitting in the parking lot of I think a pipe making company. It's been in the same place every time, and I doubt it's moved, since it's covered with snow. So tempted to stop and see if it's for sale and how much the owner wants for it.
If the owner has any inkling of what it is, I'd never be able to afford it, and finding any parts would be laughably difficult, not to mention exorbitantly expensive, but I still really really want that car. It wouldn't be that hard to put in modern components right? Right?
