Not Craigslist but this ad has been in Auto Weekly magazine for the last few months at the same OMG CLASSIC WOODY AMERICANA!!!1!! price. Karpower doesn't go to 88, but here's the fair market value of the next year newer with side by side comparison, he's only wanting about 24k over its actual value. Only 58k miles which means everything has been magically frozen in time for the last 21 years!

Even if you were a Cadillac dealer, they had an additional $15,000 buy in to sell the vehicles because of "promotional market cost." There was also a 25k buy in on the Caterra. All the Cadillac dealers in the area, save for one, had this reaction in both the Caterra and Cimarron's case: I remember my dad going to the meeting wondering what they were going to spew out because the last time Cadillac pulled a "special meeting", they revealed the 4-6-8 which as we all know was a classic turd.

Browsing craigslist today I noticed a theme for the day. If a car has a salvage title, it's almost always due to "minor accident", I wonder how many people actually buy that bullshit? If somebody says,"The car has a salvage title because there's a small scrape on the bumper." That should always translate to,"The car behind me didn't see my brake lights and smashed into the rear of my vehicle so there's going to be some freeway shuttering going on because it most likely bent the frame but I didn't take care of that, but look at the paint, that poo poo is cash!"

^^^^ 2000 and newer vehicle years and a minor accident = completely loving destroyed but I painted it, so it's like putting lipstick on a pig. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this one. Which is completely justifiable. The car at that point has already been paid off at least once and if you get into another wreck, there could be structural questions that arise from the first total loss.

My dad has a 66 Impala SS 327 convertible that I take out a few times a year, usually during graffiti weekend and other things. He's had other cars from the 60's over the years, but that's the only one that he's kept since before I was born. He retired the land yacht in favor of a 69 260z he bought for my mom a few years later but it was the 70's and she still wanted a Lincoln land yacht. Anyway, the nostalgia factor probably skipped the kids born in the 80's/90's, but for kids born in the pre-80's, there's still a nostalgia market.
