Not much humor value here, this one might be genuinely good:

What does this guy think a "little car" is? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Corona have unspectacular fuel economy, and wasn't it Toyota's biggest US car, and not particularly small regardless?

Regardless, that's tempting.

I'm imagining this guy is very, very fat. Like over 350 pounds.

I want to know how much of a deadline they had when they designed that cluster, and how much time they sat around not doing anything related to designing it.

Although you can pretty much apply that to the majority of GM's products from the late 70s on.

Too bad it's pretty much choked down by all the period emissions and typical "Fine late 70s/early 80s" Italian craftsmanship.

Problem with the 3000GT is it was essentially still basically a widened/Shortened Galant like the DSMs of the era, but with some different body work and the 6G. While the DSM cars could handle the weight, adding every technological and stupid thing you could get added up fast. They also rumbled around for about 10 years with the same basic chassis/suspension its entire run, although they got lighter as the days go on.

I think people have gotten them down around 3100-3200lbs these days, depending on how much of a tin can you want to ride around in.

http://www.jdm-option.com/eng/pickup/06_12/pitroad.html

They can make a lot of power, but all and all I'd probably stick with a 4G63 car.

I've kinda softened my haterade to them as I have to the R33 Skyline.
