Personally I'd like to see an AIer buy it just to see how cool they could make it. Insane custom fiberglass body and a turbo anyone?

It's at least supposed to look like the intake on the compressor side of a turbo. While the engine bay shot does show some pretty beefy looking piping headed in that general direction, it's still entirely possible that's not the actual turbo.

If it is though, it's in the most awesome place possible to ingest all kinds of road dirt, leaves, grit, and other assorted horribleness which it will then feed into the cylinders under high pressure.
