I finally got some items in my shop!

http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=27299

I'll probably stick with selling dice bags in the future, but right now I have some Demented Bunnies that need homes just as weird as they are.

If I don't get rid of them soon my Mom might keep them. :ohdear:

e: Isn't there an etsy goon group? How do I join that?

I need help with my shop.

I don't know why, but for some reason when people buy from me through Paypal it's charging them an extra $10 for shipping, even though the real shipping (a whole $2.50) is already included in the price that they're paying.

Does anyone know what's going on? I don't want people to think I'm trying to gyp them out of cash. :(

I only just heard about it on the forums over at Etsy, and there's an article about it here.

Ultimately I'm still kind of confused by it, and was wondering what you guys think.

From reading it I guess it's just a way for people to get more views? Maybe?

I hardly see a problem charging a fair price for something you put a lot of money and effort into.

If they don't sell on Etsy, they don't sell. There's no point in underselling your wares there.

I've been on etsy for almost a year now and this is pretty much the case. Sell items for what they're worth and accept the fact that they just might not sell.

Off-topic but since you're right here, Wandering Knitter -- four scarves made with the yarn you sent are currently items in a silent auction for Haiti emergency relief. Today I heard that the organization the money's being donated to is able to buy something like ten meals for a dollar. Depending on how much the scarves go for, that's a lot of hungry people getting fed :)

Aww, thank you! I always liked those dice bags. Shame no one else does :v:
