Are we talking about Doctor Who in here? I'm almost done watching the show start to finish now. It took a few months (over a year), and there were some rough patches in the mid 70s, the late 80s, most of the 90s and part of the 2000s but all in all it's been a fun ride.Chuck Bartowski posted:I'd be interested to hear who everyone's favourite companion was. I'd have to say mine was Martha. Leela. Noxville posted:You should drop by the Doctor Who thread, this will make interesting arguments. No no we're not like that anymore. Now we argue over whether or not Steven Moffat is a misogynist or a misandrist.

TV Zombie posted:As much as I'd want to point out that the effects for Farscape look dated and the video quality of my dvds make it look shoddy, I'd so want to do a rewatch of the series. I rewatched it recently after a very long time and seasons 2 and 3 still hold up as incredible tv even today. Season 1 ranges from good to nearly unwatchable at times though.

The 100 never really shakes that YA trash paperback feel but it somehow makes it work anyway. I actually thought it was a little over the top with it's bleakness at first but now watching a show about angry selfish hateful people slowly but systematically destroying all semblance of earths art, history, culture, technology, it's people and the planet itself, all with the implication that what we had was never really worth saving anyway, I dunno, it feels a lot more at home in 2019 than when it started.
