This is true. The blue box keeps the rounds all nice and neat where as the red box is loose bulk. The rounds are bouncing around on each other causing bullets to come loose and general nicks causing them to be less accurate. I have shot both out of my 10/22 and my Mosquito and my brother has shot it out of his 10/22 and there is a noticible difference in accuracy. The blue box is worth the extra 3 dollars.

it isn't easy being a cross dominate shooter.

I read on sigforum.com that Academy Sports has a good deal on the Sig 2022 9mm.

I drove down to the Academy on 41st and Sheridan in Tulsa and, sure enough, they're selling them for $500 brand new. Bud's is selling them for $482, and after FFL this would probably be cheaper.

I'm not sure what the going rate on these is, but Sig's MSRP is $613 so I'm assuming this is a good price.

P.S. The only complaint I have is that Academy is selling them with the 10 round magazines instead of 15.

P.P.S. I have just realized that Academy Sports only has locations in redneck states. I consider this deal my just compensation for having to live in the American South. (Mid-South?)

There is no need for single-action in a revolver for defensive use, and a concealed hammer makes drawing from a pocket easier. Once you get the money, get the 642 or 442.

Both support HDMI, but one uses the SVideo port, the other a standard HDMI cable. To me, an actual HDMI port means more. Spend the 15 bucks.

Edit: Man, they have "Pre-1898 British Enfield Martini Carbine .303 British Cal" for $279, no FFL required. That would kick rear end, but I'd need to get a set of .303 dies so I could load up with black powder...

it isn't easy being a cross dominate shooter.

Need an FFL or C&R to see the prices on the website. Blast! I suppose I can have the local gun shop order me one though.

There's a lot more stuff in their catalog than they show on their web site.

FAL L1A1 .308 w/ new bbl: $490 (closeout)

Wait what, is this for the whole gun or just the receiver and needs a parts kit. All I have seen FALs go for around here are $1000+. What am I missing here?

I'm guessing it's cheap because it's an L1A1 and most of the L1A1s I've seen built up were made from seriously worn out parts kits, although it says it's got a new barrel and that's what I'd worry about the most with a kit gun like that. I had one for a while that was actually built up before the '94 ban; the parts kit had an armorer's tag on it that said "Fails to group; removed from service." And big surprise, I could never get it to shoot well.

Also, it's inch pattern which means it might be more difficult to find accessories and spare parts.

It also might have a thumbhole stock or other negativity going on.
