I upgraded my case for RTX 5090. Now it doesn't suffocate anymore! But that inspired me to clean my desk a bit, and I realized two things would be nice:
- Under desk shelf where I can move my amps, remote etc. I have plenty of room on both sides of the desk.
- USB extension cable for mouse

Ideally the shelf would be white. Some sheet metal factory in China makes these white steel shelves: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F1MW5JTX

But where could I find some random chinese item from a shop which ships to EU?

Any ideas? Thanks.

Wireless mice have been without fault for a bit of time now. I was also once a stalwart no-wireless guy but I switched a couple years ago and you'll never see me going for a wired mouse again. I recommend the Logitech lightspeed stuff.

'white shelf' should be a pretty simple thing to find on whatever EU version of Etsy exists, or go to a hardware store and see what's available, or Ikea type places.

I realize this wasn't the reason for your post but would you be willing to share the headphone amp set up you have in the back there?

Lower black box is cheap/crap stereo amp, Aiyima A07 - https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads%2Faiyima-a07-tpa3255-review-amplifier.18984%2F at least my sample has horrible channel imbalance, like -4dB on left channel, it changes side if I switch speaker cables.

Headphone amp is Meier Audio Corda HA-1 MK II, over 20+ years old, made in 2003: https://www.hifido.co.jp/sold/11-60285-11411-00.html?P2= (pics here)

Silver box is 48V mic amp/usb sound card, Audient ID4

Speakers are used Gradient Prelude, I had them on shelf for years before realizing I could use them on my PC with a cheap amp and speaker stands.

Recommendations for a sit-stand that goes fairly low?

I was also hoping to see solid enough to attach monitor mounts to without them ending up wobbly (drives me crazy if the monitor is wiggling around when typing). Also best case there would be a way to do carpet spikes at the bottom because it's on thick carpet, even if I have to buy the spikes separately.

how low exactly?

if you want solid then look for one with 4 legs, i picked up the flexispot E5Q recently and it's built like a tank

I always seem to end up sitting very low, like measuring from elbow to ground on the tallest chair I could find is like 24-25", so subtract thickness of a keyboard and such.

It seems like the biggest trouble desk wise is that the room has fairly thick/soft carpet, sounds like it's going to be a big problem. And no lift desks I could find have options for carpet spikes. And considering the total weight it would probably need a lot of spikes. It looks like at my standing position I only need to go to ~42-43 inches max though which isn't too bad.

Stability-wise it doesn't sound like there's a huge difference between different brands at 2 legs or separately at 4 legs. I was considering a L shape like the e7l but it doesn't have a low lift version like some of the other flexispot stuff.
