Pretty nice. I'd that s Nook Color?

Yeah, I got it for Christmas and love it. The battery life isn't great but I'm never far away from a plug anyway and I like to read comics on it a lot.

I use Perfect Viewer to read comics on my Nook. It's great, and it's got a slew of features. And I have terrible eyes. I actually just read Blankets on it without any issues, and no zooming/panning around the screen.

Then again, though, my Nook Color is rooted and running CM7.

Yeah mine is too and Perfect Viewer is what I'm using also. I've read Y The Last Man and Ultimate Spider-Man on it, as well as a bunch of others perfectly fine.

Man, that room would look so much better with hardwood floors.

Pretty much depends where you grew up I reckon. For me it's the exact opposite since in a country that's warm all year round no one carpets their floors.

 Right, I'm going to spend much more on a desk because the company is still growing up. An extra hundred or two dollars mean nothing to me if it can help out a budding, relatively inefficient company I have no personal connection to.

Things cost more when they aren't mass produced with the cheapest materials. Solid mahogany is slightly more expensive than particle board.

Just moved in, not finished setting everything up but got my desk mostly in order. I have all of my camera equipment in the drawers. Can't believe I went so long with a 4' desk and 0 storage.

It’s just the AmazonBasics Tablet Stand. I think it was like $7 or something but it works perfectly. I’ve had 0 issues with it. I use the Surface strictly for Discord.

I know this is the post your actual desktop thread but we need one to help these sad goons get out of their child-like aesthetics and into something more adult.

I switched from a Razer membrane keyboard to a mechanical today with Cherry MX Brown switches, which I realize are not even the lightest ones, and the difference is incredible. Typing is actually fun now and not a chore like it was before.

I got the Durgod Taurus for $100 and I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Is that the CTRL keyboard? I just got a Durgod K320 but I didn’t get any backlighting. I was looking at the CTRL for my next one because I like the lighting and the ability to hotswap switches.
