everyone gives ya a hateful look because your untidy cables hosed them over once again

What?

In a colocation facility, wiring room, server cabinet, office installation, etc, yes, cabling tidiness is important.

Home users need to plug things in and have them work. Yes there may be too many cables, but Christ stop with the insane ramblings about it.

There are upsides and downsides to layoffs. The downside is that I had to move into a cube by the boss, whereas before I was up in the front of the complex and could duck out at 2 PM.

The upside is that I still have a job, and there is lots of extra equipment lying around...finally got a new laptop, blackberry curve, and two new desktops with dual monitors each which I linked with synergy2.

Nice 7960. Most of the offices I've worked in have had super old Avaya or Panasonic phone systems. :saddowns:

It is awesome. Extremely comfortable and adjustable. It will last you a very very long time.

Yeah, same here, everyone has aeron chairs. I don't know why they spent so much on them but i guess telecom company that was founded late 90s == aeron chairs.

Don't get me wrong, I like the chair, except for the hard plastic edges which make it difficult to find a good sleeping position in. :haw:

We have both the Aerons and the Leap chairs here. I sit in an Aeron, because I can't stand how hot the Leap Chair is.

Never heard of the leap before, so I looked it up, laughing my rear end off that it has a head rest attachment, just in case you get into a high speed head on crash at your next board meeting. You know, to prevent whiplash.

Picked up a lower-end Dell 20" from work, so I traded my 22" to my coworker for an equal 20" he had, so now I have three 20s and everything matches up on my desk. The right two are hooked to the PC, the left one is hooked to the Mac, and both of those plus the old Dell off to the right are all linked together with Synergy. It's loving amazing.

Do you stand to use your computer or have like a drafting stool?
