Is the stuff any good? We've been running 3 Equallogic boxes in a group config for a couple years now for about 14TB of post-RAID storage. They've performed great, the interface is nice, Equallogic support is excellent to talk to. That said, when they hit hardware EOL we're probably going to replace them with something else. The "Scale Out" philosophy that they bring with every unit having their own controllers, cache, etc, drives up the cost per GB. Instead of tacking on a $15k shelf of disk, you need to add another $50k for another full blown SAN and we don't have the performance requirements to justify it.
