I'd say anything by Elton John right now, but Levon and Rocketman are pretty high up there. Last television season, the pilot episode of Californication used it and it's stuck in my head ever since.

Hermod's Ride to Hel - Loke's Treachery, Pt.1 by Amon Amarth. I'm listening to it right now and I can't stop. I think this is my favourite song on the album. Norse mythology is so awesome.

I've been listening to the entire "Ghosts of the Great Highway" album by Sun Kil Moon, but mostly the song "Glenn Tipton." It's just really mellow and seems very autumn-like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjA3EbKsl4E

"Wide Awake on Lake Street" by Banner Pilot and "Oh, Susquehanna!" by Defiance, Ohio are getting a whole lot of rotation as of late. Wide Awake is everything I love about the music I listen to rolled up into a >2:00 song. Susquehanna is just a great song about the downsides of urbanization.

QUAFF "more than blue". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpYrOHxIVXE Most of their stuff is a little harder than this, but this song is just addicting. I just saw them Monday night in Nashvegas with some other up-coming Japanese bands. They were so drat entertaining, and now I cannot stop listening to the CD. Or dancing while listening to it. I get weird looks from people on the freeway and at stop lights.

Sebadoh - The Freed Pig I'm one of those weirdos that thinks Sebadoh is superior to Dinosaur Jr. All I know is I can listen to this song all day, and I cant say that for any Dinosaur Jr. song.

I'm on a kick for The Real Tuesday Weld lately. Namely: Kix, with a bitchin' rad video to go with, and The Day Before You Came, which has no worhtwhile accompanying video, but is still a good cover.

I've listened to the song "King's Crossing" by Elliott Smith every day for the last three or four months because of the impact some of the lines had on me when I heard it for the first time. It's absolutely amazing. Also, "High Tide or Low Tide" by Bob Marley. It calms me down so much. Clocktopus posted:Kanye West; Lupe Fiasco; Pharrell Williams - Us Placers Ahh, and Thom Yorke too. I used to be hooked on this song in summer.

2nding "Mooncoin Jig" by Steeleye Span, "You Don't Know Me" by Folds/Spektor and "I am Trying to Break Your Heart" by Wilco. I've gone through intense periods with each of those songs (I first heard 'you don't know me' a couple months ago when the fake leak happened). Right now? "Upwards over the mountain" and "Sodom South Georgia" by Iron & Wine. Hell, pretty much anything by Iron & Wine. Sam Beam has absolutely no suck.
