LICK MY ASS

Lately it's been Courtesy Call by Sixx: A.M. There's this bit where the song kinda stops and you hear a door being busted open and a guy say "oh, jesus christ!" and it makes me think about what was in that hotel room (I am assuming it was Nikki in a 3/4ths-dead state). And I usually let this segue into Permission, my current "favourite sad/downbeat song".
Before that it was The Evil That Men Do live from Rock in Rio by Iron Maiden. No song makes me feel like rocking out more than that one.

LICK MY ASS

Lots and lots of Woods of Ypres. Pretty much the entirety of Grey Skies and Electric Light, but also
Your Ontario Town is a Burial Ground and Years of Silence (and the Private Joke), both from Deepest Roots and Darkest Blues.

Grey Skies and Electric Light is so eerily beautiful when you consider that the guy who wrote it was killed before it was released and has something like Finality on it.
