Amon Tobin - Always Not just lately, but for over the past number of months. The song makes we want to get into guerrilla warfare.

Bear Rape posted:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga0ohgZFVqc It's been over a year, but the song and video never ceases to mesmerize me. Just watched Cat People recently. Giorgio Moroder's tunes are bewitching. Irena's Theme probably stands out the most: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9LwPrCmF1s But a variation of the tune with "To the Bridge" makes me want to cruise around in a police car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAkmIAn3Oxo

The Aphasian posted:I have a Spotify playlist called "Murder Songs" because there are way too many songs about love. You come close to getting the best of both worlds with Nick Cave & Kylie Minogue - Where the Wild Roses Grow. A little less on the love bit, a lot more on the obsession.

I keep coming back to the soundtrack that Alias Conrad Coldwood did for OFF. I can't think of any RPG that has music similar to it, or any game for that matter. Empty Warehouse - Start off with some soothing ambient Pepper Steak - Battling mooks to electro-swing Fake Orchestra - First boss battle, starts off melodramatic, then segues into becoming industrial/tribal-like.

Didn't expect to come back so soon, but discovered Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds yesterday. I can't stop digging the bass from Horsell Common and the Heat Ray. It's just fantastic for a 70s movie villain/monster to walk out to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msS8otYxgSc

Carpenter Brut - Roller Mobster https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFfybn_W8Ak On a slightly related tangent, there's a song I can't get out of my head lately, and I while I remember the tune, I can't recall the specific lyrics. Male lead, high-toned voice. Moderate-high tempo. Has an 80s synthpop style to it, but I think the song came out in the 2000s/2010s. Most distinguishing thing I remember is the (unofficial?) music video on YouTube - a montage of 80s/90s clips with that VHS quality taking everything from shows, movies, commercials - some of the clips I recall include a car commercial, a woman superimposed to look like a giant running through a city, and old-school 80s CG lightshow/effects. Like this Boards of Canada video, but with a lot more dancing involved. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yT0gRc2c2wQ
