I'm about 3 hours into Persona 5, and have maybe had control for 1/3 of that? What do I need to know for early game

They'll hold your hand for about 2-3 hours, tops, to lead you through all the mechanics and daily routine, then kick you out on your rear end to leave you to it for the rest of the game. this is what i've found as well, with smt too, which is why i timed my question around the 3hr mark of my own playtime. thanks for the posts everybody!
