Everyone remember this, but no one knows where to find it. It was the height of "you're the man now dog"'s popularity (not the new lovely ymntd site, the original) and someone made a set of drop downs with those 5 words and you could arrange them in any order and have it play back. There was something so heartwarming about hearing "DOG DOG DOG DOG DOG"

There was an epic freakshow of a callout thread in Helldump that got goldmined (I think) that involved some weird English kid who thought he was a gay necrophiliac Yoshi or some drat thing. There's somebody I know who thinks he has seen the worst that is out there, and I want to show him that the rabbit hole really never does stop going down.

Awhile back I remember seeing a Youtube (I think) video that was kind of a short film. It was about these kids that collected this comic book about a guy who was drifting at sea on a raft. Every issue of the comic book had the same panels and at the end of each issue was one line supposedly spoken by the man on the raft. I can't for the life of me remember the name of this thing and it's been bugging me for awhile wanting to watch it again. Anyone remember it?

One thing I just recently remembered was this site, it was themed sort of like celebrity deathmatch, with two similar celebrities pitted against one another. I wish I could remember examples, but they would have been things like "Alf vs. ET" and so on. I can't remember much more detail, I seem to remember a pretty simple layout, looking like it was made around 1998. I think I found this through bored.com sometime in 2001-2002. Can't be sure The other thing should be much easier: it's a free music website, similar to pandora, where you input the genre, time period, mood (happy, sad), tempo (calm, dance? not sure), etc. The site gives you a web-like playlist of songs that match your criteria, color coded by genre. I think you could also type in a band name or song and it would hook you up with things that were similar, too. This site had a pretty snappy layout. I think I originally found it by stumbleupon a year or 2 ago. Thanks, help is appreciated. Fake edit: This is kind of related to the thread, where is Treytor's avatar/custom title from? When I was around 14 or 15, I used to have this mp3 of a song that was filled with innuendos, some of which were "their feet in the water, their hands on their marbles", "she pulled up her dresses and showed us her ruffles", and "if you think this is dirty, you're loving well right!" The one mp3 that I do know the title of but can't find anywhere is this old Daft Punk song called "Pierre Stupide" or something like that. I originally downloaded it on Napster with a bunch of other Daft Punk remixes that I still have. But strangely Pierre Stupide disappeared from my music folder backup during a hard drive wipe. If you guys can help me find these two songs, I'll be very appreciative. Thanks.

Okay, here's one for you internet detectives. I'm looking for a flash video from... oh, 2005 or 2006. In it, a guy reads aloud and animates a really terrible fanfiction. The fanfiction in question is one where the author (depicted as a 400 pound nerd, of course) writes a self-insert where he gets to have sex with Saria, the forest sprite from Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This video is hilarious in my memory, and I want to see it again.

Year 2000 or so I stumbled upon a personal user's site on a college domain. I had it bookmarked on my old PC but it didn't make it over to the switch and it's been so long I remember nothing about the site address (which college, etc). He had created an interactive story based around the game "Asteroids". It was basically a dude falling in love with a girl who hates him, and it drives him crazier and crazier. It ends with a monologue about how he is the guy in the spaceship, always fighting an endless stream of asteroids until he dies. The very last page was a flash (or probably java) version of the Asteroids game. I have never been able to find it. I tried my best to recreate it on my personal site (awkwardsaw.com/asteroids) so if you find that, it's not it. His was much simpler and much more moving. I actually got lost in the story of obsession and sat playing asteroids for half an hour feeling I was the guy lost. It was the first and best mixed media presentation I've ever experienced. So if you know anything about this, or know of an archive somewhere, I'd love to see it again.

I read an article once about kids who's parents paid to sort of commit them in this sort of mental hospital/boot camp in Mexico or Jamaica... There was parts in it about the guy they hired to actually kidnap the kid, and then stuff about the orderlys holding them down, there was a really sad story about a girl who wanted to go to law school or something and got sent there because her parents didn't approve. I think there all closed down now... there was even something written about a revolt in one of them. It was a really interesting article, anyone remember it or the name of the camp?

There was a series of 3/4 flash videos doing the rounds in 2000/2001. Of the 4 the only one i can still find is called "how to get your girlfriend to have anal sex with you". The other one in the series (i'm pretty sure they were all done by the same crew) I want to see but can't find was about a condom that had an explosive tip. It was suppoesed to be used to resolve unwanted pregnancy. The condom was called the exterminator (or something). They used to be hosted on albino blacksheep, but i've not been able to find them since. I forget what the other 2 were, they were just as good and equally retarded.

I've been trying to find a video by a fella named X_20mm_X that was made a little over a year ago. It was put on youtube but I searched for it and couldn't find it. It's from battlefield 2142 featuring the Clark 15B shotgun. I searched google and forums and it was supposedly on filefront for a while too but it's no longer hosted there. Is there any hope!?

I downloaded an MP3 from Audiogalaxy back in its heyday, tagged as "All The Way Live - My Nintendo" -- an old-school hip-hop track that samples the Super Mario Bros. theme and yammers on about how much fun it is to, well, play Nintendo: "My Nintendo Is very exciting to me And out of all the videos It has plenty varieties...of games For me to select So I keep my pen and paper, So I can keep check Of my score As I enter the zone Of intruders trying to touch base And enter my home..." (goes on like that) It's definitely pre-nerdcore, and probably pre-Internet, but name-checks the Game Boy, so maybe 1991-ish? The artist/title are pretty much Google-proof, assuming they're correct in the first place, and I've never been able to find any reference to it online. Anybody know what this is?

A while back there was one of those "write me lyrics, I'll make you a song" threads. The best result of it was this one song called "Bewitched", with a chorus that went "Bewitched like changing Darrens/I shoot endangered herons from the sky/A boulder running errands/comes rolling by and crushes you and I".
