Current contract status: pay as you go on old lovely phone
Budget: Not an issue, I'm willing to pay big to get a good phone
Features: Mainly Internet. I barely make any phone calls or texts, it'd be mainly for internet, i.e. forums, videos, irc. Unlimited data is preferable.

Never bought a phone before so don't know what to look for or where to get it. I don't want an Apple one, already been burnt by an ipod and its lovely software. I was thinking of a Samsung, but don't know the difference between an S4/S5 etc.

Current Contract: I just pay monthly, the phone was bought separately

Budget: any

Features: I usually browse chrome, watch youtube and listen to podcasts

I currently have a three year old Samsung S6, but the battery's going to poo poo. There's like four newer versions now (7, 8, 9 and 10), is it worth getting a 10, or should I get an earlier version? What do the newer ones do that's actually worth the money? Does the battery last longer or shorter?
