Yeah, that's a good ride height. Not sky high, but not so low you've got no travel or load capacity.

The bumper overriders are actually from the previous generation model. The period correct bumper had an additional big bar across the front, but it�s very ugly so everyone takes it off.

Going to register/insure it tomorrow, and pick up a new water pump as it's a bit leaky. Otherwise, everything checks out as pretty good. And it's the Brougham package.

Probably. The previous owner did some small modifications to it. It also has a set of gauges relating to coolant and oil pressure that was installed, and a manual fan control switch under the dash.

Sounds like they might have been worried about headgasket issues! But the Fleetwood didn't have the Northstar did it?

Does it still have the matching VIN sticker? Looks like a respray. I had a car with a resprayed panel that I couldn�t see with the naked eye but I could always tell with polarized sunglasses on.

I am presently trying to figure out how to hack up the 10 lbs of poo poo in a 5 lb bag up front so I can have IATs that don�t sit in the 170s at idle

Photos always make everything silverish look like a respray. Garaged cars don't end up with mismatched panels unless you take it to a shitbox body shop which seems unusual for a car of that type.

It does not, it has a 350 SBC engine, and I think it was more along the lines of 'older car guy liking actual gauges instead of idiot lights'. Speaking of lights, those ones on the bumper are basically aftermarket fog lights. Kind of greenish, and really bright.

That�s some old satin paint on there now, shot well but the car was sitting outside for a while so it�s crusty under the beltline, and a couple spots are cracking.
