e85 is a higher octane thus more boost thus more fuel needed to sustain added boost.

you need more fuel to feed the lower a/r needed when you are using e85, i believe the appropriate afr for e85 is around 11:1 in most cases so you need a beefier fuel delivery system to feed higher horsepower.

this chatter about purposefully having a returnless system on anything but stock is hilarious
