After some broheim dickweed totaled my wife's car, I passed her the newer, nicer Prius and bought an older 4Runner. 2000 2WD Limited, 155k. Paid $4800. I've wanted one for a million years and with basic maintenance they will generally run forever. One owner, minor cosmetic damage. Putting in an aftermarket trans cooler this weekend to avoid pink milkshake, and going to ride on and on and on and on.... I like it.

My first car was an immaculate 85 manual NA (red, no spoiler ). It was consumed by exploding head gasket. RIP. Loved that car. I'll never forget my best friend and I tricking his sister into the trunk by claiming 'there's no way you'll ever fit.' We still joke about it today. That was 15 some-odd years ago.

So we decided to go down to the Ford dealer and drive a few used and new F-150s after the wife decided she didn't like the new Colorados all that much after all and the Silverados we saw in our price range were all fairly stripped out, with the dealers locally not offering great deals. This is a great looking truck, but I loving hate the chrome wheel fetish that Ford has. Just

No space and my wife isn't really amenable to another car at the moment (working on starting a family/saving/etc.). Just two 4Runners in the driveway now (00 and 07). Eventually I'll probably try to grab an NA MkII if they haven't all been modified into oblivion. I can't imagine the 2GR in that little thing. I had the NA/5sp 85 in Super Red (exactly like yours w/ no spoiler) and it was a rocket with the stock 112hp. Great little car. I miss the poo poo out of it. Maybe one day. *sigh*
