1999 Ford Escort ZX2 140k miles; photos were around 100k miles for all its worth. Great car, worth every cent of the 2k$ spend on it more then half a decade ago. Power Nothing; crank windows, Halfway working AC, and a 5-speed :911:

FAKEEDIT: 40k miles, 2 Rear ends, one flat, one robbery, and at least 4 years ago, I plan on keeping that Escort till those wheels fall off.

It is indeed possible, as you can see from the parts I've gathered. Most people eschew the 3.1 and swap a newer version (3400, 3500) or use gen 3 components, but I wanna keep it period.
