In InDesign can you set multiple page colours (for different masters)?

I want some pages to be printed on coloured stock (they have their own child master of my main grid), don't want to change the paper colour to anything other than white because that will gently caress up my other pages; is the only way to get round this drawing a big coloured rectangle on the master on a non-printing layer?

Long shot but there's a possibility you could have meant Theo van Doesburg - same movement, some stuff is similar.

It's completely fine to use it on professional projects, I remember an Adobe rep answering a blog or forum post confirming it a while ago.
