Lately I've been listening to a lot of L-VIS 1990 and Jokers of the Scene. Any recommendations for stuff that I might like based on these two?

Speaking of Sigur Ros, I'm looking for more post-rock stuff with vocals like in their song Glosoli http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zr_MJAOyOeU I'd prefer female vocals (despite the song being sung by a dude) but any recommendations are welcome. Rhgr posted:Gregor Samsa, Halves, Her Name is Calla. Not a lot of post rock with vocals out there, especially with female ones. slowdave posted:If you're not familiar with it, you might like slowcore. When it was still relevant, the genre kind of went hand in hand with post-rock, to some extent at least. Check out Low, Red House Painters, Codeine, Ida, Bedhead and Sun Kil Moon. There might be some elements in their music you'd enjoy. Thanks for these. I'll make sure to check them out

I'm looking for stuff similar to Demdike Stare, especially their song Hashshashin Chant . I've seen some places describe it as dark ambient but that hasn't given me quite what I'm looking for.
