Two requests: 1. Female rappers. I've listened to a few songs with female rappers (some by P.O.S. for instance) and thought they were great. For reference, my favorite rappers in general are Blackalicious, Nas, and Tupac. 2. Anything in Swedish, Hindi, or Arabic. I know just about nothing of the latter two, but I'm familiar with a few Swedish bands. My favorite is Kent, but I'd still only give them maybe a 7/10. It would be sweet if I could find something more folksy (not Laleh) in Swedish. Thanks in advance!

Anyone got some Turkish music recommendations they can pass along? I hate about 99% of the croony, warbly poo poo they play on the radio. Ruhum by Yasar Kurt is the only Turkish song I've found that I really love. Once Kendine Bak by Ceza is okay too, and Denek Hayatim by Sakin (I don't much like any of the other songs I've heard by any of these three though). Something Paul Simon-y would be great, or something like Peter Fox/Seeed or... well, really I'm open to trying anything not too sickly sweet and poppy. I don't care at all if it's "traditional" or not, I just want it to be in Turkish. Thanks in advance.

I don't listen to a lot of hiphop/rap, but there are a few songs I really enjoy and I'd love to find more like them. I think the common thread in what I like is a non-rap um... part (chorus?)... in it which is out of a completely different genre. Sorry for explaining this badly. Here are just a couple examples: Sol - 2020 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEl4rhr9PGI Gangstagrass - In My Aching Heart Shadows Linger http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3IHTEHraNg There must be shitloads of this type of thing, but I don't know where to start. Also absolutely ANYTHING like this: La Estirpeh - He Visto Un OVNI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMpcGm9_8Ew Different language isn't important, but a bonus I guess. Mostly looking for something energetic, with a really good, catchy beat.

I'm looking for rap from all around the world, in as many languages as possible. I know that's awfully broad but I'm not sure where to start.
