Any suggestions on good electro/hip hop like spank rock rock or the cool kids?

Please no ironic white girl MCs though.

I'm in the mood for some noisy stuff that rocks. Maybe something similar to the faster/heavier songs of Jesus and Mary Chain or A Place to Bury Strangers? Any suggestions.

Hey guys, I need a little help identifying a genre, or finding similar music at least
It's kind of a nerdy source, but I absolutely love the soundtrack to the indie video game Bastion (check it out, it's fantastic: http://supergiantgames.bandcamp.com/) and I want to find more music like it. The artist identifies is as "acoustic frontier trip hop" which I'd agree with totally, but searching along those terms hasn't proved too fruitful.
I don't know what else to call it though. Sad cowboy neo-blues? Ambient western with hits of something like Morricone?

At any rate I recommend the soundtrack to anyone and everyone. The game is really fun too, and both are super cheap.

I can't think of a band that sounds like that, but the Borderlands 2 soundtrack might be what you looking for.

It doesn't have to sound like these guys, but as a starting point this song would be in the realm of what I'm looking for:

What nine inch nails album would you recommend to someone who hasn't listened to them since the downward spiral? I've a heard with teeth and the fragile back when they came out but I barely remember them, so those are fair game for recommendations. Everything downward spiral and earlier I listened to about a million times in high school so I'm pretty familiar with them.

Boris is a weird band in that some of their stuff really rocks and some of it is just (imho) boring feedback noise. Definetly start with pink and probably Akuma No uta and go from there.

I recently stumbled upon Elliott Smith and I'm amazed it took me this long to discover such an awesome artist in one of my favorite genres. I'm wondering if there might be other rock artists that I should know about. Examples of rock I like are mostly grunge/90's alternative such as Elliot Smith, Pixies, Nirvana, and Smashing Pumpkins, but I also like post-2000 Beck, and some upbeat stuff like Franz Ferdinand. Any suggestions for similar stuff?

Do you want to narrow it down at all? Between basically all 90's indie/grunge rock/emo, and post 2000's beck and early 2000's dance rock, I'd have a thousand recommendations but I don't even know where to start.
