The reason he left is that Lakai couldn't afford him. So to keep Lakai afloat he left them and got the big offer from Nike. After what Alex Olson got Im sure its a lot of cash.

Referring to Olsen because it was a huge payout to a skater to switch shoe companies. Lakai had no chance at matching either of those offers.

I'm assuming doing short run ins as a mongo rider is going to be super tough but thats way down the line. Any kind of rough surface is going to be annoying when pushing mongo. Cobblestones is going to make the nose bounce all over the place.

Also, the berrics match this weekend between Torey Pudwill and David Gonzalez is much better than most of these matches have been thusfar.

Also2, Jimmy Carlin is really loving good.

I like how the young dudes all pop their tricks crazy high. Mike Mo and Billy Marks did it in BatB1 as well.

Psycho White Boy is so nice!

Im riding Girl Mike Carroll deck that must be a fake because i cant find pics anywhere. Zebra stripe pattern from about 4 years ago.

Extremely Sorry was dope. It needed better music I think. Apples and Rowley ripped as usual. The 'vert' parts were my favourite surprisingly. Bob on the mega [tre bs board!], Rune is super under appreciated and Lance seemed to be enjoying a sweet backyard session.

I went back and watched a few parts today after watching the whole video yesterday and each individual part is pretty killer, it's just when it's all strung together with similar music the video in its entirety bored me so much that I wanted to turn it off half way through. Also, even though I was disappointed with how short Jerry Hsu's part was, I think all his tricks, with the exception of one, were all switch.

I find the endless bangers to be boring. Its just not my style. That said Westgates part was amazing. Hes like a combo Grant Taylor/Dennis Busenitz

To add to the nerdy tech convo: http://www.vimeo.com/18914682

Some of this is so lacking in style that it almost ruined my night. Know what this manual needs? Another kickflip!

I'm reminded of my city's "premier" skate shop, Hogtown Sports.

There's your problem right there. Hogtown has been a garbage shop for a long time
