try brake caliper paint http://www.duplicolor.com/products/caliper.html probably overkill but it seems to hold up pretty good.

That is awesome. I really enjoyed your updates on the 53' very awesome seeing that truck come together. So what is the story of this Divco? How did it escape getting junked all these years?

I cant get over how small that frame looks without any of the axles or outriggers on it. Looks like it should turn out good!
