The NOS4A2 tv show felt very much like a USA (the channel) tv show. Low-ish production values and cinematography, meh acting, etc. There was no value added to the adaptation.

Just reread Firestarter for the first time in probably 30 years. Weird thinking the book was newer when I originally read it than any of the Harry Potter books are now because it didnít feel new at all. Itís very 70ís.

Being from around there it was funny to see him mislabel our amusement park as Seven Flags Over Georgia. When he mentions it again 50 or so pages later he corrects it to Six. I wonder if that got fixed in later editions.

And no 80ís King book is complete without an uncomfortable description of a nude child.

That's crazy, I just read Firestarter for the first time last week. I enjoyed the MKUltra poo poo, which I suppose was fairly new information when he was writing the book.

I can't speak to much of his post-van output but that definitely wasn't limited to his 80s output. Incredibly uncomfortable talk about sex or naked children is timeless Stephen King yikes.
