Behold my cat, Gus. For some reason, he really likes to stand and hug your legs. He even sorta does it on command now. It's the cutest thing.

  The cat tree on the left was trashpicked. The kid's toy was also on the trash; I took off the slide and the steps and glued indoor/outdoor carpet on it. The tree on the right was on ebay for $10. Oliver, Homer, Lily, Josie (in litterbox) and Pixie in Kitty Heaven. Lily, Josie and Pixie are sisters I brought home from the barn. Homer was orphaned at three days old and Oliver (highest up) was found behind my work.

Here is the late Tom (as in Tom and Jerry, so named for his coloration).  Tom was an adorable and friendly barn cat at my brother's farm who had this cute little habit of sleeping nestled up next to this one cow, almost in her armpit. You can guess what eventually happened.  Tom's partner in crime, Kitty (v  v) naps on top of cows, which is much safer, and she is alive and well. Farms are dangerous places for cats though.Which is why I rescued this one:  This is my new kitten. I adopted her after she rode seven miles somewhere in the undercarriage of my dad's truck from his farm to my house just to come find me. Her favorite thing to do is to attack my fingers when I try to play computer games. I like to think it makes me a better player.
