I am in love with win 7. Everything is smooth and I couldnt find any rough edges. I sold my mac four years but I can say I will not miss osx one bit after using this.

Johnny B. Goode posted:The good thing about not using Vista is going from XP to Win 7 is just so drat exciting! Going from vista to win7 is just as exciting. It is true vista had most of these features but win7 is far FAR more polished it feels like a totally new os.

OgNar posted:Nice. While I have used other programs over the years for management it is still Acdsee 3.1 for viewing. Its just damned snappy. The latest acdsee 2009 regular edition is just as fast. I love that software.

Gromit posted:I've been disappointed with the performance of every new release I've tried, but I'll admit I haven't given that one a go. All I want is a viewer - I don't need all the management, albums, editing etc that they bloat it with. Yea I hear you. the acdsee 2009 image viewer is just that. None of the edit\albums\etc bullshit its just a amazingly fast viewer. I have tried all the free ones and decided acdsee is well worth the money. Give the 2009 trial a go if you are on the fence.

I have read the link in the op but I am still confused about this. I am currently running windows 7. Can I do a fresh install of windows 7 again from the upgrade disc or will I need to install vista again and upgrade to 7 afterwards?

Why did they remove the right click > scan with windows defender option from the right click menu? Is there a way to scan a single file in win 8 with windows defender?
