I keep thinking about moving to Windows 7. However, I just bought a Studio GX and Ableton Live 7, and can't do without it...

I use Ableton 8 in 7 and it is pretty much entirely stable. I would imagine that 7 would be equally as stable if not more so. I've had one crash and that was probably related to plugins and not Ableton. I don't use a ton of VSTs but the 5-6 that I do use all work pretty well. I haven't had any major issues with them.

Drivers or your hardware might be sketchy.
