Today I decided to check out the horrible suspension knock on the G8.

Went in fully expecting it to be the control arms (which is a known issue/TSB), and had already bought new ones. Decided to remove the sway bar end link and take a spin, and the knock was gone. Time to order new end links! The old one's ball joint was shot and had metal on metal contact when I was rotating it.

I absolutely love Holden for making pretty much every bolt on the suspension extremely easy to get to with plenty of room.
