It is. Track 2, L'Appel Du Vide (3:25 into that stream), owns and is one of my favorites.

New video from Knocked Loose. NOT a new song though, before you get your hopes up. That said, there are a few live videos of new songs that aren't too terrible.

The Hollow is legit one of my favorite whatevercore albums I've ever listened to. I don't gently caress with a single other thing MMF has ever done, tho. Something on that first album is done so well and it all went to poo poo after that. It gives me heavy Gwen Stacy vibes, who put out the incredible A Dialogue

The Hollow is their 2nd album and 4th release but yeah everything after that is terrible, but this new stuff is jarringly different (but still awful).

They'll never top the first EP with the original singer, IMO.

But yeah Shooga check out the self-titled EP and Sleepwalking their first LP if you actually liked The Hollow.

appreciate the knowledge/history drop, but i just checked these out and my very first instinct is to want to kick this singer in the teeth for sounding like such a whiney baby. whoever sings on the hollow >>>>

Goddamn, Oli was an absolutely phenomenal guitarist and I still jam Fall of Ideals regularly. RIP to the nth degree.

I prefer TDH and TFOI overall but I actually think Overcome was Oli's best album and Chiron may be my favorite ATR song.

The new album is pretty much exactly what I thought it would be from the singles and I really wish they wouldn't keep trying to single-handedly make nu-metal cool again. (I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy X (Mwah) though.)

It's got a few tracks that I can see myself listening to here and there (The Lotus, for example), but they're just moving in a direction that I don't particularly care for. But I've also never been the biggest fan. Really, I should just go through all their albums, cherry pick songs to add to a playlist, and pretend that's the only Hellions album

Opera Oblivia is one of my top 10 albums, and after a few listens Rue is pretty close to it for me. Iím not sure I can even articulate why I love the band so much, but everything they do just works extremely well for me. Iím not particularly fond of most of the different sounds theyíre mashing together lately but somehow, for some reason, the end product is supremely my poo poo. Rue and The Lotus are both SOTY contenders for me.

I genuinely donít get it. There are times that they sound like My Chemical Romance making love to 311 in an alley behind the circus, which should be completely loving unbearable, but somehow it ends up being this coherent, unique, and unbelievably catchy monstrosity that I canít stop listening to.
