lolol finn might have controversial opinions that he definitely leans into bc it makes people butthurt, but im not sure that makes him a "garbage human." his linkedin posts are overwhelmingly positive with good advice for people looking to take their careers to new heights. he seems like he genuinely enjoys trying to help the kinds of people who want to be independent or get out of their dead end jobs, etc. i appreciate his approach to content creation bc he's obviously doing it right by "blowing up" (ie living comfortably without a 9-5 just making shitpost youtube videos about how babymetal sucks) and seemingly making the content he wants to make. if you think he's a bad person bc he makes a post about music that you disagree with: 1. he "wins" by getting under your skin 2. you should reevaluate how seriously you take your music opinion

Sticking up for Ronnie Radke makes him a garbage human in my mind. The first vids fed to me was him calling him a genius and ranting about cancel culture and wokeness, and a garbage essay meanwhile tearing down Henry Rollins. Real "punk". He's allowed to think Linkin Park are great. Apologizing for an accused rapist/transphobe like Ronnie is not. MasterSitsu fucked around with this message at 16:54 on Sep 24, 2022 |

at the stick to your guns, kublai khan, belmont, foreign hands show this venue is like a mix of a mid-to-large arena plus a dave and busters (house of blues anaheim) and it is quite possible the worst venue ive ever been to. the line getting in is like going to a theme park + someone broke down in front of me in the enormous parking line when i was almost in the structure i missed foreign hands and i am extra pissed lol. this band koyo is on now and i hate them oh yeah btw within destruction (not the ruins) dropped their album this weekend

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujqnAvgpMCc new track from The Undertaking!, for those of us with an ETID shaped hole in our recently played edit: godfuckingdammit, I just realized the Plot In You / Silent Planet / AVOID / Cane Hill show is the same day as the Varials / Boundaries / Orthodox / Distinguisher show. How do I get them to shuffle lineups so I can see Plot, Varials, AVOID, and Orthodox without having to deal with the rest XIII fucked around with this message at 23:02 on Oct 4, 2022 |

once went to two shows in one day like 13 years ago or something. it was exhilarating. also feasible bc one was an early matinee and the other was at night. missed a few bands of the night show but was only there for the headliner anyway go see varials

I was just at a show, in doors, that started at 2pm and I was home for dinner. There was sunlight pouring in the auditorium and blood pouring out of one guy's nostrils. Let's normalize moshing in the daylight.

Counterparts is getting some totally deserved attention (Eulogy... loving rips) but I'm also pretty impressed with the new Lamb of God. This is the best they've sounded since the Ashes/Sacrament days. Randy actually sounds pissed again and there's a bit of hardcore edge throughout that's been missing for the last decade. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duJNDHUbtoQ

saw Whitechapel for the first time last night and they were incredibly tight BTBAM performed for 50 minutes so it was of course only 5 songs, 3 of which were from Colors II so not much variety but mostly new live stuff which was cool! Never Seen // Future Shock is my favorite off the album and seeing it performed was neat we missed Khemmis because of traffic though and i'm loving pissed about that

I saw BTBAM supporting Dillinger Escape Plan many moons ago, and their set was the entirety of Colours in order, then Mordecai. Absolutely stunning. Then on the 2nd TDEP song Greg jumped and put his head through the ceiling and just carried on

With the BTBAM chat, feels like as good a time as any to bring up Parius and their new album, The Signal Heard Throughout Space. It's not -core and it's barely got the death metal elements of their older releases like The Eldritch Realm (which is great), but it's a real fun listen if you're into prog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZEuYUbbpNk
