I feel like the last two posts' images were way over-sharpened? I can really see the sharpening even at normal browser size, I feel like using some masking when doing the sharpening would make a big difference.

I think that's just the film grain for my two. I didn't even touch the sharpening slider for the bunker photo, and only a tiny bit (7 in lightroom) for the beach one

It's a lab scan (see Fuji SP-3000 in EXIF on Flickr) and the lab is sharpening the gently caress out of the scans to start with.
