(2). We will immediately go into a two year isolationist attitude in order to straighten out the greedy big business posture in this country. America will allow NO imports, and we'll do no exports. We will use the 'Wal-Mart 's policy, 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.' We'll make it here and sell it here! This is the dumbest thing I have heard in a long time. I simply cannot believe anyone could think this is a good idea.

Just got this one from my girlfriend's parents. It's not blowing anyone out of the water, it's just stupid I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU ALL BUT, I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR MONTHS, I FIND I SAVE MONEY!!!! AND THE PRODUCTS ARE JUST AS GOOD OR SOMETIMES EVEN BETTER. ONE NATION UNDER GOD!!!! GOOD REMINDER ======= Good idea . . . one light bulb at a time . . . . A physics teacher in high school, once told the students that while one grasshopper on the railroad tracks wouldn't slow a train very much, a billion of them would . With that thought in mind, read the following, obviously written by a good American . Good idea . . . one light bulb at a time . . . . Check this out . I can verify this because I was in Lowes the other day for some reason and just for the heck of it I was looking at the hose attachments . They were all made in China . The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I checked the hose attachments there . They were made in USA . Start looking . In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else - even their job . So, after reading this email, I think this lady is on the right track . Let's get behind her! My grandson likes Hershey's candy . I noticed, though, that it is marked made in Mexico now . I do not buy it any more . My favorite toothpaste Colgate is made in Mexico now . I have switched to Crest . You have to read the labels on everything . This past weekend I was at Kroger. (Can be true for any store.) I needed 60W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets . I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE brand I normally buy was an off brand labeled, "Everyday Value . " I picked up both types of bulbs and compared the stats - they were the same except for the price . The GE bulbs were more money than the Everyday Value brand but the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO and the Everyday Value brand was made in - get ready for this - the USA in a company in Cleveland , Ohio . So throw out the myth that you cannot find products you use every day that are made right here . So on to another aisle - Bounce Dryer Sheets . . . yep, you guessed it, Bounce cost more money and is made in Canada . The Everyday Value brand was less money and MADE IN THE USA! I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed just like the Bounce Free I have been using for years and at almost half the price! My challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop for everyday things and see what you can find that is made in the USA - the job you save may be your own or your neighbors! If you accept the challenge, pass this on to others in your address book so we can all start buying American, one light bulb at a time! Stop buying from overseas companies! (We should have awakened a decade ago . . . . . . ) Let's get with the program . . . . help our fellow Americans keep their jobs and create more jobs here in the U . S . A . The same applies to doing business locally, support your local stores and ask them to buy American

the youtube comments for that song are gold: I'll reject the "X" and just go with Christmas. I'm not about to wish you a Merry "X" mas.......As for Kwanzaa, well you celebrate it if you will, but it's just a little observed cult holday perpetrated on the black population by an ex-con Black Nationalist named Ron Karenga who was involved in the assassination of another Black Party member named John Huggings.........funny how time erodes all memory of facts. I will give you that ONE. Please keep in mind that the Treaty of Tripoli was after the fact and was a declaration that the country is not a religious nation but it is founded on religion. However, if you check the thousands of other documentation you will find many more references to the fact that God is a central part of the formation of our country and our consitution. You might also want to note that EVERY state constitution starts with reference to God as a part of it's foundation. ahahahahah check this one out Totally cute way of saying what has needed to be said for quite some time. For clarity's sake, it is a fact that the words "separation of church and state" are NOT in the constituion but how it is written it is clear that this was the intent. The purpose of that intention was to keep the state out of the church NOT to keep the church out of the state.

SpergyGirl posted:As a Christian, I'm actually glad that the President chose not to pray publicly. In the Sermon on the Mount (specifically, Matthew 6:5-6), Jesus specifically tells his followers not to pray publically, as this is ostentatious behavior - when you pray where people can see and hear you, you're basically going "Look at me! I'm all holy and devout and stuff! Aren't I awesome?" Christianity isn't supposed to be about cultivating the outward appearance of holiness, it should be about cultivating actual holiness in oneself and in others. Should I tell this to the group of Crusade kids that are always praying in the middle of the campus recreation area each week or should I not try to get shot?
