Since it wasn't an impact portion of their childhood they can't really see any cartoons as anything but extremes(childish or vulgarity-laden for immature adults). I'm over 55 myself, and while I'm not a big fan of cartoons per se, I'm a huge fan of KOTH. So much so that I'm still watching it on Adult Swim every weeknight. I've seen every episode so many times that I can tell you what episode it's going to be right after the theme song plays. I've seen most episodes over 10 times and I can still watch them.
