The cat I had way back when grew up best friends with our collie dog, to the point that they'd just curl up with each other to sleep. The best part was that they close enough shades of orange and cream that the cat would just disappear when they did that  I wish I had more photos of them, but that was a bit before digital cameras were everywhere.
