Poppy and Aggie are both shelter girls. We think Poppy was about 1 when we got her, she was a stray, picked up in the rain under a car. Aggie we don’t know the story behind but we do know her birthday, so maybe taken in by someone’s cat that had a litter. She was with a litter mate.

Good watching. Lump had become the biggest dinner pest. I've taken to folding my fingers in when I'm snacking on the couch because she cannot differentiate between a treat and a fingertip.

yardstick update: don't have him back yet because he's getting a bad cheek abscess drained. they tell me his leg was broken, but the bone is healing on its own, so they aren't doing anything to treat it me update: i am thinking about fostering him for at least a few days to see if he shows signs of adjusting to the good life

yardstick is the third cat i've caught for TNR. all three have been adult male, and two had abscesses that needed to be drained i don't think it's coincidence, i've been told you can easily identify older unfixed tomcats visually because their coat ends up looking patchy due to all the old battle scars underneath

Yeah no, turns out if they live indoors where they aren't fighting other cats and raccoons and whatnot, that doesn't happen.
