also i'm not even attempting to make sure that ripley (2 years) eats the adult food and newt (3-4 months) eats the kitten stuff. usually i just take advantage of the fact that the kitten food is apparently way nicer and newt will come eat it straight away to get first pick. guess that won't last forever!

I bought a portable AC unit last week which will cool my living room & kitchen to acceptable levels, but not the bedroom. The cats, naturally, now prefer to hang out in the bedroom so I have to keep the bedroom door shut. It was 95-100 all last week and projected to be 98-100 all next week.
