My local shelter is doing something similar with donations to write someone's name in the bottom of a litterbox. It's bad vibes. Must have been some industry newsletter idea.

the nature center here is taking donations to name a cockroach after your ex, then they video their turtle eating the cockroach and send it to you ...i will admit that i gave a sizable donation when i learned the turtle shared its name with the ceo of a company i used to work for, so i had them name a cockroach after the company

Oh yeah there was a similar thing in Oz where you got to name a fish carcass that was fed to a hagfish, a few years ago.

Nargle wanted to pop in. https://i.imgur.com/gS2f4OE.mp4 Closer to 19 than 18! I'm blessed with such a sturdy cat. She's also up north of 4 pounds, when we had to go into the vet last jan she was 3.1 or so. every day with her is a treat e: and yeah i think her right eye lost calibration a year or two ago, but it still seems to work more or less

i love when cats cuddle dogs. Frank only likes to cuddle into me and doesnt like it when Gus tries to cuddle into him. Maggie lets out a low growl when Gus lays on top of her but its low enough that i think he thinks shes purring and so is unfazed by it. and every time i use the bathroom now it takes so much longer because this little rear end in a top hat gets really affectionate and demands i pick him up and cradle him like a baby and so im stuck until i run out of patience or he moves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRotPi33XKY

Pomona is generally very chill so she didn't react too much to him making biscuits, but got a bit perturbed once he snuggled in. once we turned the lights off, she moved over to the opposite side of my wife then Rocco moved between my legs the main thing is that Rocco will go from very nice to smacking her in the face with no provocation so she hasn't really figured him out
