Gilbert is now the proud owner of a crinkly ear due to a hematoma and accidentally tearing his drains out while hiding under a couch

he also got diagnosed with what is likely a pituitary tumor and has to be on insulin for the rest of his life. but otherwise he is doing good and living his best increasingly wonky life

glucose monitor, i think. gilbert gets insulin shots because of his pituitary tumor, and he had a stick-on monitor for a bit. he wouldn't leave it alone though so my parents ended up taking it off and now he gets his levels checked weekly at the vet
