Here's what I really love about my cat: her speckles. She has tiny little spots of black on her legs and stomach. If they could make a Dalmatian cat, I would get one.

It's been about two weeks since the death of Danzig and I now have a new cat. Meet Miss Oscar: She is super friendly, practically leaping into pets and also is a little talkative. Danzig never knew how to meow so this is nice change of pace. I hope to have many years with this fine chonky lady.

Miss Oscar's a good cat. She's quite a bit different than Danzig in that she plays, can meow, follows me, and demands pets. Only time can tell if she'll allow me to pet her belly.

Update on Miss Oscar, thinking about changing her name to Delilah. I've managed to pet the sides of her belly and touch a little bit of her stomach before she gets up. No biting or scratching so I think belly petting is possible.
