yeah, she was trampled by a horse and the shelter had to take the leg off. they're really great people, i've been told that most shelters would put down a cat in that condition.

the shelter that had her is about 20 miles west of where I live and given that I live in the far northwest minneapolis suburbs that tells you how loving rural this shelter was, so she was probably a barn kitten or something

pretty coincidental, I think Dogface was a farm dog. he was shipped up to the local humane society from iowa and nobody there knew anything about him, why he was there or where he came from. i think he was a farm dog because he freaks the hell out when he hears chicken or cow sounds on TV

The cat was acting like that because his owners were out of town and I was petsitting. He's not normally an affectionate cat, but he missed them, so he was conflicted between yelling at me and getting affection from me. He's never been an outdoor cat and he was very well fed. 2 seconds before the video, he was rubbing on my head and purring.

i was outside at night last week, sittin in a lawn chair and havin a smoke in the dark and sneaky pete ninja jumped on me right on my chest and i thought i was gonna die for a second

but he was there just for a very short intense petting session and he actually licked my forehead
