I have been through the exact same thing with a previous cat, and I know what you're feeling. The heartache is because you loved him and shared your life with him and can't imagine it otherwise. I've been thinking about trying to create a ~~the~~ mother of all SA catte threads.

I think a "Best Cat Picture on the SA forums" contest where a poster could nominate any cat picture in any thread by quoting it in the contest thread. Limit one nomination per poster and 832 +/- total nominations. Nomination by quoting ensures that the picture was on the forums at least some fraction of time before and they can be numbered in order of post to make vote tabulation easier.

One vote per poster per elimination round. Vote by the numbers which 50% of the field goes to the next round

rinse repeat

get down to the final 13, vote for the very best one of those.

Would FYAD poop it up? Would AI and COUPONS AND DEALS participate?
